Canton, Ohio – September 17, 2026 – The Hiram women's golf team traveled down to Canton, Ohio Thursday afternoon, for the Cavalier Invitational hosted by Walsh University. The Terriers competed hard against golfers across the DII and DIII level, fighting hard for every position. 

Leading the way for the Terriers was Kayla Weisenberger, who placed 37th place with a score of +44. The sophomore has continued to impress, leading the way for Hiram. One spot after Weisenberger finished was Gretchen Smink, who finished +47 in 38th place. Rounding it out for the Terriers was Rose Sangchompuphen, who finished in 40th place with a score of +57. 

The Terriers will return to action on Monday, October 12, when they begin their first day of the Fall PAC Championships.
