MEDINA, Ohio - April 6, 2026 - Hiram men's and women's golf competed at the Wooster Invitational to open the week on Monday at Fox Meadow Country Club. The one-day event featured five men's golfers and Kayla Weisenberger of the women's team; the men tied for fifth in a talented field of golfers, while Weisenberger competed as an individual in her first action of the spring season.
On the men's side, Ian Muka led the way with a score of 76 at the par-72, 6,917-yard course. That score was tied for seventh in the field of 36 golfers, giving Hiram a chance to climb the team standings at the end of the day.
Also on the leaderboard for the Terriers was Kevin Ina and Michael Clark, who shot an 84 and an 85 respectively to place 25th and 26th on the individual leaderboard. Robert Morgan (90) rounded out the team's best scores of the day.
For the women, Weisenberger made her presence felt in the first spring action of her collegiate career, posting a 115 at the par-72 course. That score matched her previous score from the BW Fall Shootout last October.
Hiram golf will return to the course on Sunday and Monday for the Nye Intercollegiate at Wooster Country Club in Wooster, OH.
