Hiram Battles In Doubleheader At W&J

Terriers Make Late Push In Game 1 On Saturday

HIRAM, Ohio – April 11, 2026 – Hiram baseball lost both ends of a doubleheader on Saturday at Ross Memorial Park, as the Terriers scored late in Game 1 and fought hard in Game 2 before losing both PAC games.

With the losses, Hiram now is 5-7 in the PAC, which is just outside the top-six spots for a PAC Tournament berth.

Game 1 Recap

Hiram mustered double-digit hits and showed some late life in Game 1, but a five-run sixth inning from the Presidents proved to be the difference. The top-four hitters in the W&J lineup combined for 10 hits in the contest.

The Terriers got an RBI double by Luke Snider in the third inning and another RBI double from Logan Gallentine in the seventh. Heading into the ninth frame, Hiram trailed, 11-2.

Matthew Trimble then delivered his team's biggest hit of the game, lifting a three-run homer to left field to trim the margin to six runs. For Trimble, it was his second home run of the year and 10th of his career. W&J finished off the game, but not without some late momentum from the Terriers.

Game 2 Recap

The Terriers fought hard against W&J in the second game, but fell to the league-leading Presidents 10-0 in seven innings. The Terriers fought hard against the Presidents, making them earn any any runs that they scored.

On the mound for the Terriers were Braeden Kinniard, Caleb Shreve, and Timothy Johnson, who combined for seven innings and four K's.
