Hiram entered the conference match up shorthanded, competing without several of its key contributors from earlier in the season. Despite the limited rotation, the Terriers remained competitive in all four sets and pushed Bethany late, particularly in the third set, where Hiram held multiple opportunities to take a 2–1 match lead.
Hiram will look to bounce back in conference play next week as they take on the Wolverines of Grove City College on Tuesday at 7 p.m. inside Price Gymnasium.
