GREENVILLE, Pennsylvania – March 4, 2026 – Hiram recorded kills on 13 of its 18 points in the first set, but ultimately fell short against the reigning PAC champions, Thiel, in three sets: 25-18, 25-14, 25-18.
The Terriers were aggressive in the early going, jumping out to 3-0 and 5-4 leads behind four early kills from four different student-athletes. Freshman Liam Dwyer finished the set with a team-high four kills, but Thiel had three different 4-0 runs to take the early one-set lead.
The Tomcats would then record a .429 hitting percentage in the second set (19 kills, four attack errors) and .476 hitting percentage in the third set (12 kills, two attack errors) to claim the sweep. Ezra Oesterling led all players in the game with 11 kills.
Senior Cullen Sivak led the charge for Hiram with six kills and five digs, while Dwyer finished with six blocks and a pair of blocks. Colin Brooks added five kills and five digs to round out the contributions.
Hiram will next be in action on Friday, when it travels to Bethany, WV for a road PAC matchup with the Bison at 7:30 p.m.
