HIRAM, Ohio - March 31, 2026 - The Hiram Terriers defeated Bethany College in a three-set match on Wednesday evening at Price Gymnasium. The Terriers won 25-18, 25-15, and 25-16, with the beginning and end of the sets being the most dominant part for the Terriers, as they found their form after previously losing to Bethany in four sets earlier in the season.
The Terriers had the same story in all three sets, jumping out to five- and six-point leads in the early stages, with the Bison having a bit of a fight towards the middle, and the Terriers closing it out in the last part. Not once did Hiram trail in the entire match.
Cullen Sivak and Dakotah Welsh shined, each having nine kills and hitting over .300 (Welsh hitting .353 and Sivak hitting .313). Kekoa Tani also shined with seven kills and having 15 assists.Â
Gavin Stewart came in the game in the third set and made a statement, collecting three kills and hitting 1.000.
The Terriers return to action on Wednesday, as they play Geneva in a crucial game for PAC playoff seeding. Game starts at 7 p.m. in Hiram, OH.
