HIRAM, Ohio – March 25, 2026 – Hiram continued its dominating start to PAC play on Wednesday afternoon, winning both games of a doubleheader against Bethany, 9-8 and 12-3, at Bison Field. The Terriers now have a PAC-best record of 4-0 on the young season.
It was a day of offense for the Terriers, as they combined for 25 hits across two games. Lola Thomas led the team with five hits, while Danielle Robles recorded four hits. The duo also combined for 8 RBI.
Game 1 Recap
Avery Contini picked up her first career win for the Terriers in the circle. The first-year pitched 6.2 innings of work while only giving up one run and earned three strikeouts.
Game 1 was a game of comebacks, as Hiram began the game trailing, 4-0. Kayla Prigge and Hannah Marlow both walked to start the second inning, which set up an RBI double from Hannah Schimmoeller followed by a sac-fly from Ari Torres. The Terriers then knotted the game at 4-4 off a two-run double from Robles.
Going into the sixth inning, the Terriers were once again down, 7-4. Marlow then hit her third home run of the season to pull within one run before Thomas delivered the eventual go-ahead hit with a two-run single to right field in the top of the eighth inning.
Game 2 Recap
Game 2 followed a different format, as the Terriers dominated from start to finish. Hiram jumped ahead early in the first inning with five runners reaching base. Megan Moser, the reigning PAC Hitter of the Week, continued to stay hot with a two-run single to close the first inning.
The Terriers stayed in command in the third inning, as Torres and Robles hit back-to-back two-run singles to take a 9-0 lead. Marlow then capped the day off with her third RBI to take a 12-0 lead. Marlow now leads the team in RBI (16) this season. Torres, Robles, Moser and Thomas each had two RBI in Game 2.
Yasmine Clark earned her fourth win of the season, pitching a complete game on 63 pitches. Clark had a shutout brewing before the Bison added a three-run home run in the fifth. No further damage was done, and Clark finished the inning to put the "mercy rule" in effect.

Hiram will hit the road and next take on Westminster for a conference doubleheader on Saturday starting at 1 p.m. in New Wilmington, PA.
