Hiram Keeps Rolling With 11-9 Win Over Brevard

Terriers Finish Spring Break Week In Victorious Fashion

HIRAM, Ohio - March 14, 2026 - Hiram finished its busiest week of the season in perfect fashion, as the Terriers capped off a seven-day span with a 4-0 record thanks to an 11-9 win over Brevard on Saturday afternoon at Henry Field.

It marked Hiram's first winning streak of at least four games since March 2023, when the team also won four straight. The victory also gives the Terriers a 4-3 overall record heading into the start of conference play on Wednesday.

Will Minggia spearheaded the home team with a season-high four goals, while Kellen Wetz and Micky Morgan each had career-highs with three assists each. Morgan also added three goals, giving him a career-high six points for the contest.

Nathan Lavigne (10 ground balls) and Remi DeSmith (18 faceoff wins) were also team leaders in major stat categories, while Aidan Griffin had his second-most saves in a game this season (15) to secure the victory as the starting goalkeeper.

Hiram was steady all game long, outscoring the opposition in both the first quarter (3-2) and second quarter (4-2) to take a 7-4 lead into the intermission. Three of Hiram's goals during that span came on man-up opportunities.

The Terriers scored three goals within the first five minutes of the third quarter, and Minggia tacked on an insurance goal late in the fourth quarter to give Hiram enough breathing room to pull away with the victory.

Hiram will take the next three days off before returning to competition on Wednesday against Washington & Jefferson at 7 p.m. from Henry Field in Hiram, OH.
