HIRAM, Ohio – February 11, 2026 – Hiram took a lead into the intermission, but a strong defensive effort from Westminster in the second half proved to be the difference in a 66-55 loss to the Titans on Wednesday evening at Price Gymnasium.
The Terriers led at the half, 33-32, with Brock Makrancy tallying 8 of his 11 points during that span. Hiram led by as many as 8 points, with Collin Jones igniting a rally with a slam dunk before Makrancy sunk a 3-pointer and Drovinsky Ulysse made a layup to make it a 30-22 game with 4:09 left in the first half.
Westminster closed the half on a 10-3 run.
The Titans found a groove on the defensive end in the final 20 minutes, holding Hiram to seven field goals and 22 points. Jack Agema provided a burst with 9 points in the second half alone – including a run of 7 straight points – but the road team held strong to win the game by double-digits.
Hiram had three different players score in double-figures: Agema (13), Jones (12) and Makrancy (11). Jones and Ulysse both had six rebounds, while Mitchell Wiechecki had a team-high three assists.
The Terriers will play their final road game of the season on Saturday, when they head to Latrobe, PA for a conference battle against Saint Vincent at 6 p.m.
