Hiram Falls To Waynesburg On The Road

Boscarello Adds Eight Shots For Terriers

HIRAM, Ohio – October 3, 2026 – Hiram College men's soccer dropped a conference road match, 1-0, to Waynesburg on Saturday night.

Hiram controlled much of the match and outshot the Yellow Jackets 19-10, including an 8-1 advantage in shots on goal. However, Waynesburg's lone shot on target found the back of the net in the 81st minute, giving the Yellow Jackets the 1-0 win.

It was a game where Hiram controlled the majority of the possession. Heavy pressure and strong defense were the theme for most of the match, but the Yellow Jackets were able to find a way late.

Carmine Boscarello had a busy night offensively, accounting for eight of the Terriers' 19 shots. Boscarello, Alex Lineen and Caleb MacKay each recorded two shots on goal.

Hiram will return to the road on Wednesday, October 7, when it faces Thiel at Alumni Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
