HIRAM, Ohio –January 12, 2026 – Hiram Sports Information awarded Terrier of the Week honors to both Emily Lorenzon (women's wrestling) and Issac Ray (men's wrestling), with both student-athletes winning bouts this past week to help their teams to strong results.

Lorenzon picked up a win at the Tiffin Duals against Lourdes. The win was awarded by fall, with the bout finishing in 0:41. The sophomore from Akron, OH has tallied 11 wins on the season, with nine of those victories coming by fall. Lorenzon now leads the team in wins by fall.

For Ray, he picked up his third win on the season, beating Saint Vincent's Judson Dean by major decision (13-3). Ray nearly won the bout by fall at the last second of the second period, but the action was ruled as a near fall instead. The freshman from Canton, OH was still able to finish the bout strong and give his team a chance to win a PAC dual.

Men's wrestling next travels to Washington, PA to compete in the Jim White Duals on Saturday, while women's wrestling opens up a busy week as they travel to Bethany for a tri-match on Monday evening.  The team will then have a dual at Waynesburg on Friday and a tri-match in Price Gymnasium (Senior Day) on Saturday. They close out the week at the Mount Union Open in Alliance, Ohio on Sunday.
