HIRAM, Ohio – April 2, 2025 - The Hiram College Terriers put forth a spirited performance in Wednesday's home non-conference contest, taking a moment to celebrate the contributions of seven graduating student-athletes before falling to Alfred State, 10-9, at Henry Field.

The Terriers found offensive rhythm early, moving the ball effectively and creating quality scoring opportunities with senior
Aaron Gardner scoring the first goal of the game with the help of an assist from senior
Trevor Nordstrom. Gardner finished with four goals, tying
Ethan Mayer for a team-high total.
Defensively, Hiram demonstrated strong effort, forcing multiple turnovers with senior
Gray Perry totaling a season-high seven ground balls. The team's hustle and determination were evident, with the Terriers grabbing 6-2 and 9-3 leads over the course of the non-conference affair.
Alfred State won the game by outscoring the home team, 5-0, in the final quarter.
Hiram will now turn its attention to the remainder of the season, looking to build on the positive moments from Wednesday's game ahead of another matchup on Saturday against the Kenyon Owls at 1 p.m.
