FORT MYERS, Florida - March 14, 2025 - Hiram dropped its final game at the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic, 18-1, to Haverford College at Terry Park Stadium Field.
The Fords improved to 7-3 with the win, which includes six straight games with at least 10 runs scored.
The Terriers fell into an early hole despite an RBI single from Hal Walker Jr. in the third inning. Walker Jr. and Logan Gallentine each finished with a pair of hits on the day, with Walker Jr. now batting .516 on the season.
Haverford's biggest innings came in the first (three runs), third (five runs) and sixth innings (eight runs), with the 2-3-4 hitters in the batting order driving in a combined 10 runs to create separation and eventually win the game.
Hiram will return home before traveling to Tiffin, OH for a non-conference matchup with Heidelberg on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
