UNIVERSITY PARK, Pennsylvania - December 6, 2025 - Hiram's
Ken Bagley scored his first collegiate goal on Saturday afternoon, but the Terriers fell, 5-1, to No. 10 Salve Regina in their second matchup of the weekend at Pegula Ice Arena.
Bagley found the back of the net at 16:41 into the second period, jumping on a loose puck and scoring unassisted to cut the Seahawks' lead to 3-1. The goal capped Hiram's strongest stretch of the game, as they generated consistent offensive pressure throughout the middle frame and finished with 12 shots on goal within the period.
Goalie
Mark Paton delivered an impressive performance, posting 47 saves, with 14 in the first period and 18 in the third, keeping the Terriers within striking distance.
Despite the final score, the Terriers generated extended pressure during multiple man-advantage opportunities in the third period, firing seven shots on goal across their three power plays. Hiram also won a series of key faceoffs, led by
Anthony Arthurs, who went 6-for-9 at the dot.
The Terriers will hit the road again on Friday for a matchup against the Adrian Bulldogs at the Arrington Ice Arena at 7 p.m.Â
