ADRIAN, Michigan – December 12, 2025 – Hiram faced a tough road test on Friday night, falling 10-0 to No. 2 Adrian at Arrington Ice Arena.

Ian Amaranto faced a rigorous trial and finished out the evening with 55 saves in just shy of 50 minutes of action. Furthermore, making several key stops to limit further damage, keeping the Bulldogs to only two goals in the second period.
Remi DeSmith came on in relief late in the third period and recorded 10 saves over the final 10:27.
Despite being held scoreless, Hiram continued to compete defensively, blocking a total of 18 shots on the night.
Cole Mitchell led the pack with four blocks, while
Harrison Flaacke,
Marco Taffo and
Sam West each contributed multiple blocks. Hiram also earned five power-play opportunities but was unable to convert.
Hiram will continue their road swing on Saturday at 3 p.m. The Terriers will look to regroup and come back stronger against an Adrian team that is in the running for a national championship;
