UNIVERSITY PARK, Pennsylvania - December 5, 2025 - Hiram's Anthony Arthurs became the second Terriers student-athlete to have a multi-goal game on Friday evening, as he joined his brother, Tyler Arthurs, by scoring a pair of goals in an 8-2 loss to Salve Regina at the Pegula Ice Arena on the campus of Penn State University.
Anthony Arthurs scored at the start of the second period and midway through the third period to account for Hiram's scoring, with Markus Olson and Shane Ward assisting on the latter of the two goals. The Terriers held a 1-0 lead following a scoreless first period, and later cut a 4-1 deficit to 4-2 with just over 10 minutes remaining in the third period.
It was a standout day for goalkeeper Ian Amaranto, who recorded at least 20 saves in each of the three periods, finishing with a career-high 67 saves. Also contributing on the defensive end was Cole Mitchell with four blocks and Ward with three blocks.
Salve Regina pulled away late by scoring each of the final four goals in the contest, three of which came on the power play. Aidan Coupe led all players in the game with three goals.
Hiram will return to the ice on Saturday, when they take on Salve Regina again at 12 p.m. inside the Pegula Ice Arena.
