HIRAM, Ohio – October 4, 2025 – Terriers picked up a smooth sailing win over the Yellow Jackets in straight sets to return to the victory column (25-13, 25-12, 25-11).
With this win, Hiram moves to 5-1 in PAC play and 13-2 overall, further helping their positioning atop the PAC North Division leaderboard.

It was a smooth ride for the Terriers on Saturday afternoon, as they were able to take advantage of the many errors put up by Waynesburg, paired with offensive and defensive moves from all over the court.
The final two sets both started off with 7-0 scoring runs, with first-years
Megan Chiang and
Sofia Smotek, along with Junior
Maggie Riley, fueling the offensive outbursts. Senior
Kelly Hoffman contributed a total of three service aces to those scoring runs as well, helping Hiram take firm control of the PAC clash.
An honorable mention to wrap up the day was first-year
Delaney Dean who made her first collegiate start and totaled eight digs throughout the three-set match.
Next up, the Terriers hit the road again as they take on the Golden Tornadoes of Geneva on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and look to continue another win streak this season.
