HIRAM, Ohio - April 20, 2024 - Hiram fell to Wittenberg on Saturday by a final score of 26-5 at Edwards-Maurer Field. Despite the loss, Hiram led the game in saves (18) and face-off wins (18-17).

The game was close through the end of the first quarter, with a deficit of 6-1 in the first 15 minutes. It was not until the second quarter when Wittenberg started to create some space within the game; the Tigers scored all seven goals in the second quarter before holding a double-digit lead for the remainder of the NCAC affair.

The Terriers saw five student-athletes score a goal in the game, with
Ethan Mayer,
Noah Pilgram,
Trevor Nordstrom,
Micky Morgan and
Aaron Gardner all contributing on the offensive side of the ball.
William Luketich led Hiram in ground balls (13) during the game to add on to his historic season in that category.

The Terriers will play their last home game of the season on Tuesday, when they will match up with Ohio Wesleyan starting at 7 p.m. at Charles A. Henry Field.
