BREVARD, North Carolina - March 5, 2024 - The Hiram men's lacrosse came away with a win in a close game that ended with a score of 16-10 over Brevard College on Tuesday evening at Ives-Lemel Family Field.

The win improves the team's record to 4-1 and extends its win streak to three games.

Noah Pilgram had another great showing with six goals and two assists for a total of eight points, while
William Luketich helped with 23 faceoff wins and 12 ground balls. The Terriers had six student-athletes score a goal in the game, while goalie
Aidan Griffin had nine saves. .
The Terriers got off to a strong start and led at the end of the first quarter, 6-3. Hiram held onto that lead for the remainder of the contest, with
Ethan Mayer adding a career-high five goals and
Bricen Jones having a presence on the defensive end with three caused turnovers.

Brevard College found its form in the fourth quarter by scoring five goals late in the game, but Hiram kept its composure and held on thanks to two more goals from Pilgram in the final 90 seconds of the game.
With six goals, Pilgram now has 19 goals over his last three games.

Hiram will continue play in North Carolina this week as it will face Pfeiffer University on Wednesday in Misenheimer, N.C. starting at 11:45 a.m.
