GREENCASTLE, Indiana – March 30, 2024 – Hiram men's lacrosse lost to DePauw, 26-5, on Saturday afternoon at Reavis Stadium.
Levi Willett highlighted the Terriers contributions, recording his third career multi-goal game, the first of which has come against a conference opponent.
Noah Pilgram,
Ethan Mayer and
Kellen Wetz also scored goals in the team's first action of the week.
For Pilgram, the junior now has 34 goals this season, just nine shy of tying the program record for a single season. Nick Rollason (44 goals in 2018) currently holds that all-time mark.
The Tigers scored the first 13 goals in the game to take control in the first half, but Hiram responded and scored two of the final four goals to put the halftime score at 15-2.
DePauw kept the foot on the gas pedal and extended its lead throughout the second half before the Terriers rattled off three straight scores late in the fourth quarter to finish on a positive note.
Hiram will look to get back in the win column when it hosts Wooster on Saturday at 12 p.m. from Charles A. Henry Field at Malmisur Stadium in Hiram, Ohio.
