HIRAM, Ohio - October 21, 2023 - Saturday marked Senior Day for the men's soccer team, as Hiram honored seven seniors.
Seniors Travis Shrout, Keagan Le'Roux, Jeremy Sgro, Antonio Vitale, Devon Swiger, Koltyn Hunt, and Jack Meinert, all were honored for their strong effort in their respective careers at Hiram.
Each senior played a pivotal role in the Hiram men's soccer program and their efforts will truly be missed by the Terriers family.
During the game, Hiram lost to DePauw University with a final score of 4-1 at Henry Field.
Both teams were able to get out early as each were able to score one goal in the opening minutes of the game. Matt Callan was able to score for Hiram, which marked his fourth goal of the year. Jacob Fowler was able to score early for DePauw as well.
Both players scored within the first 15 minutes of the game, which set the tone early on.
DePauw was able to create separation from Hiram going into the second half with a score of 3-1 and was able to close out the game in the second half by scoring a goal to make the final score 4-1.
This was the last home game of the year for the Hiram men's soccer team, but stay tuned as they face off against Wittenberg on Saturday, October 28 at 1 p.m.
