SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - October 28, 2023 - The Hiram men's soccer team faced off against Wittenberg in a match that ended in a final score of 4-0, with the Terriers taking the loss on Saturday afternoon.

The Terriers were able to keep Wittenberg at bay for the first 30 minutes of the game, but a goal in the 32nd minute by Wittenberg proved to be a turning point in the game. The Tigers scored again just two minutes later to carve out a 2-0 lead.

Hiram got shots off from six student-athletes on Saturday, with senior Antonio Vitale and freshman Simon Schonfeld both having shots on goal.

Wittenberg closed out the game in the second half, scoring two goals in the last 45 minutes.

Hiram has played its final game of the 2023 campaign, and finishes the season with a final record of 4-13-1 on the year. The Terriers will look to improve with their young and talented roster moving forward into the fall of 2024.
