Box Score Westerville, OH -- Sept. 27, 2022 -- The Women's Soccer team ran into a hot Otterbein squad tonight, losing to the Cardinals, 4-0, at Memorial Stadium on the victors' campus.
The Cardinals sprinted out to a 1-0 lead, scoring after just 1:42 in the first half. The score remained that way through the remainder of the half, but Otterbein solved the Terriers' defense in the second half, scoring three goals within 14 minutes -- from minutes 51:00 to 65:00 -- to seal the shutout victory.
Otterbein out-shot Hiram, 24-7 and led in shots-on-goal, 14-3. Junior
Skyler Huda was big again in goal for Hiram, making 10 saves.
The Terriers are 2-7-1 this season. The team now has a bit of a break in the schedule, until Saturday, October 8, when Hiram will host Wittenberg at 7:30 PM.
