HIRAM, Ohio – October 17, 2026 – Hiram College women's soccer dropped a 4-0 conference match on the road to Saint Vincent College at UPMC Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon.Â
The Bearcats wasted little time getting on the scoreboard, finding the back of the net in the fifth minute to take an early 1-0 lead. Madie Kennedy saved the next two shots on goal, but Saint Vincent struck again in the 18th minute to extend its advantage.Â
Hiram's defense almost worked to keep the Bearcats off the scoreboard for the rest of the first half, but Saint Vincent added another goal in the final minutes before halftime to take a 3-0 lead into the break.Â
After recording no shots in the first half, Hiram looked to get its offense going after allowing the fourth and final Bearcat goal early in the second half. The Terriers responded with three shots, putting two on target.Â
Emma Deffenbaugh and Miranda Bena each recorded a shot on goal, while Kali Baker added another shot for Hiram.Â
The Terriers will return home on Saturday, October 24, to host Bethany for Senior Day at Henry Field. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m.Â
