MEADVILLE, Pa. - April 14, 2021 – Hiram College men's lacrosse fell to the Allegheny College Gators, 20-2, in a North Coast Athletic Conference matchup on Wednesday evening at Frank Fuhrer Field.
The Gators got the scoring started early, finding the back of the net just under a minute into the first quarter on Aidan Keenan's unassisted goal with 14:09 to play. Allegheny extended their lead to 4-0 before the Terriers got on the scoreboard with just under five minutes remaining in the quarter.

Gage St. Leone found the back of the net for the third time this season, cutting Allegheny's lead to 4-1 with 4:43 left to play in the first.
But the Gators scored three more goals before the quarter was up, including one with 11 seconds left, and added eight more in the second period to take a 15-1 lead into the halftime break.
The Gators added three more goals in the second period before Hiram added to their goal tally, as
Ethan Mayer scored an unassisted goal to cut the Gators' lead to 18-2.
Allegheny added two more goals in the final period before finishing off the 20-2 victory.
With the loss, Hiram falls to 1-4 (0-3 NCAC) on the year, while Allegheny moves to 1-2 (1-2 NCAC).
St. Leone and Mayer each tallied goals for the Terriers, while
Brett Johnson led the Terriers with four shots.
Nico Scarlato notched a team-high five ground balls, and
Dom Medina added four.
In the face-off circle,
Markus Johnson led the Terriers with six face-off wins, while
Chris Biddy added five.
In goal for the Terriers,
Jacob Hanrahan tallied a career-high 17 saves but took the loss, falling to 0-1 on the year.
The Terriers will be back in action when they host the Gators on Saturday, April 17 at Charles A. Henry Field in a Senior Day matchup beginning at 1:00 p.m.
