Hiram Men's Soccer Topped in NCAC Match at Wooster

WOOSTER, Ohio – October 13, 2021 – Hiram men's soccer dropped a North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) match at Wooster, 4-0, on Wednesday afternoon.

In the 15th minute, Kyle Stringer gave Wooster the early 1-0 lead with a goal. About ten minutes later, Caleb King increased the Fighting Scots lead to 2-0 after a goal with an assist from Moody Saadi.

At the midway point, Wooster collected 13 shots to Hiram's four.

Less than two minutes into the second half, Langston Hood scored the third goal of the afternoon for Wooster. Keegan King scored the fourth and final goal of the match in the 72nd minute, as the home side went on to win 4-0.

Wooster finished the match with 27 shots, 12 of which being on goal. The Terriers had six shots with one on goal.

Hiram goalkeeper Shelby Edwards made eight saves over the course of the match.

Jason Martinez led the squad in the shots department with three. Albert Gallegos recorded two shots with one being on goal.

With the loss the Terriers fall to 2-8-2 on the season and 0-4 in NCAC play.

Hiram next plays on Saturday, Oct. 16 vs. Oberlin at 7:30 at Charles A. Henry Field.
