Hiram Swimming & Diving Competes in Tri-Meet

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - January 25, 2020- The Hiram College swimming and diving team competed in a tri-meet at Sigo Falk Natatorium, Saturday afternoon.  

 The Terriers fell to Chatham 27-17 on the men's side, and 113-78 on the women's. While the women defeated Bethay by a score of 117-55 and the men fell 49-17.  

Top Performers 
Women: 

  • Angie Ross – 1st (100-yard Backstroke) – 1:07.75 

  • Angie Ross – 1st (100-yard Butterfly) – 1:12.88 

  • Jenna Nelson – 1st (400-yard IM) – 5:06.00 

  • Jenna Nelson – 1st (200-yard Breaststroke) – 2:36.71 

  • Jenna Nelson – 2nd (100-yard Backstroke) – 1:09.01 

  • Carlee Lisser – 2nd (100-yard Freestyle) – 1:01.42 

Men: 

  • Devin Gear – 1st (100-yard Breaststroke) – 1:14.72 

  • Devin Gear – 2nd (400-yard IM) – 5:26.08 

The Terriers will return to the pool on Saturday, Feb.1 when they travel to Oberlin, Ohio to take on Oberlin and Ursuline.
