Women's Soccer Falls to Case Western 4-0

Sept. 4 – CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Hiram women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to Case Western Reserve University on Wednesday evening.  
 
The first half was a silent one for both sides with neither team registering a goal in the first 45 minutes.  
 
The Spartans did most of their work in the second half tallying back-to-back goals in the opening minutes of the second frame (2-0).  
 
From there Case Western posted an additional two goals to close out the game with a 4-0 victory.  
 
Hiram managed three shots in the 90 minutes, including a shot apiece from freshman Jaycee Ward, and junior duo Sam Minor and Hannah Ward.  
 
Senior Ally Green tallied a season-high 16 saves helping keep the Spartans at bay for the first 45 minutes of play.  
 
The Terriers will hit the field again on Saturday, September 7 when they take on Franciscan on the road at 3:00 pm.
