Women's Soccer Drops NCAC Opener

Sept.28-HIRAM, Ohio- - The Hiram College women's soccer team fell to conference foe Wittenberg by a 3-0 score on Saturday evening. 
 
The Tigers struck first with Jasmine Evans scoring a goal in the seventh minute off an assist from Kaitlyn Krieg. 
 
The rest of the frame was silent with neither side posting a goal.  
 
The majority of Wittenberg's damage was done in the second half. In the 66th and 69th minute, the Tigers added a pair of goals to close out the 3-0 victory. 
 
Junior Hannah Ward led Hiram on offense with four shots. Sophomore Kaitlyn Harris also tallied a multi-shot game adding two of the nine shots of the evening.  
 
In goal, senior Ally Green finished with six saves in her 90 minutes of work.  
 
The Terriers will return to the field on Saturday, Sept.28 when they enter conference play against Wittenberg. The matchup with the Tigers is set for 4:00 pm.
