Jan.20- WASHINGTON, PA.- The Hiram College men's swimming and diving team competed in a dual meet against Washington and Jefferson, Saturday afternoon.
The Presidents led the Terriers 96-65.
Freshman Brett Bentkowski led the way in the 500-yard freestyle, finishing the race in 7:00.50.
Junior Michael Barber posted another Hiram victory in the 200-yard IM (2:34.87) and came in second-place in the 200-yard freestyle (2:10.01).
The Terriers also captured some runner-up performances, with junior Reeve Bowling trailing behind the Washington and Jefferson competition, clocking in at 52.64 in the 100-yard freestyle.
The 200-yard medley relay wrapped up the Hiram scoring performances with a second-place time of 1:54.73. The relay squad included Barber, Bowling, captain Jory Gomes, and freshman Brady Gunther.
The Terriers will hit the pool again on Saturday, January 27 as they take on Wittenberg in a dual meet. The matchup is scheduled for a 1:00 pm start.
