Terriers Suffer Loss to DePauw

Sept. 30 – GREENCASTLE, Ind. –  Two early Tiger goals made up the difference in the Hiram women's soccer team's 2-0 loss to DePauw University on Saturday evening. 
 
DePauw was first to get on the board with a goal by Bailey Ehrens in the 12th minute of play. 
 
Shaili Kumar tallied the second and final Tiger goal with less than ten minutes remaining in the first half.
 
The Hiram offense totaled four shots-on-goal. Freshman Hannah Ward led the group with two shots. Fellow freshman Amber Baker and senior Emily Syrjala shared one a piece.  
 
Terrier goalkeeper Ally Green finished the game with four saves.   
 
Hiram returns home om Saturday, October 7 as they take on Oberlin. The matchup is scheduled for an 8:00 p.m. start.
