Box Score Sept. 19 – HIRAM, Ohio – The Hiram College women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 defeat to Baldwin Wallace University on Tuesday evening. The Terriers are now 2-4-1 on the season.
The Yellow Jackets moved in early, connecting on the first goal in the third minute of the first half.
The goal marked the first that Hiram has given up in over a week, holding both of their last two opponents scoreless.
Despite allowing the early goal, sophomore Ally Green kept the Terriers in the ball game through the first half. The keeper made four saves in the stanza, keeping the deficit at one goal at the break.
Baldwin Wallace put two more goals on the board in the second half, including the final tally in the last minute, to extend the advantage to 3-0.
Green finished the game with seven total saves.
Freshman Hannah Ward tried to make headway on the scoreboard, posting Hiram's only shot-on-goal of the night.
The Terriers hit the field again on Thursday, September 21, taking on Case Western Reserve at home at 7:30 pm.
