CANTON, Ohio -- The Hiram College men's and women's swimming and diving teams were defeated by the Malone Pioneers on Friday evening.
Both of the Malone teams both improve to a 2-3 record, while the Terriers fall to 0-3 (0-1, NCAC).
The final score of the men's meet was 109-38, while the women's final score was 131-38.
Reeve Bowling was the top finisher for the men's team. Bowling placed first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:11.60. He also placed third in the 100-yard butterfly with a 59.2 time.
Jenna Nelson and Meredith Fitschen-Brown led the way for the women's team. Both of them took the top two spots in the 100-yard breaststroke with 1:15.75 and 1:17.36 times. They also placed second and third in the 400-yard IM with 5:17.13 and 5:19.32 times.
Hiram will have a quick turnaround as they face Wooster on the road tomorrow at 1 p.m.
