Women's Soccer falls to Kenyon, 2-0

HIRAM, Ohio -- The Hiram College women's soccer team dropped a NCAC contest to Kenyon by a 2-0 score on Tuesday evening.

The Terriers fall to 4-10-0 overall and 0-4-0 in conference play, while the Ladies improve to 9-5-0, 3-1-0.

Kenyon's Gillian Blackwell was able to convert on two breakaway chances just two minutes apart in the first half to account for both goals in the match.

Hiram had chances in the first half, firing off four corner kicks, but came up empty on those opportunities.

Senior goalie Kailie Reed (Wadsworth, Ohio) made three saves in the first half of action and sophomore Alina Mille (Medina, Ohio) made six saves and recorded a clean slate in the second half.

Junior Allie Glatt (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton), junior Bailey Norton (Kent, Ohio/Stow-Munroe Falls) and junior Abbey Rowe (Mt. Orab, Ohio/Lynchburg) each fired a shot for the Terriers.

Hiram will play next on October 21, when they hit the road for a 4 p.m. against Allegheny (Pa.).
