OBERLIN, OHIO -- The Hiram College swimming and diving teams lost to The College of Wooster in a dual meet as part of the Cleveland City Tournament hosted by Oberlin College in Oberlin. The Terrier women were defeated, 172-68, and the men lost, 171-52.
The women won a pair of events with freshman Lexi Cortez (Cleveland/Lutheran West) sweeping both the one and three-meter diving events posting event totals of 154.03 points and 156.30 points respectively.
The men had one individual event winner in senior James DeGroff (Cuyahoga Falls) who captured the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 50.31 seconds.
Hiram will take on the loser of the Oberlin and Baldwin Wallace University dual meet tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 3) beginning at 11 a.m. at Oberlin.
