Bowers picked up his second and third career wins at the Washington & Jefferson Invitational this past Saturday, beating W&J's Gunnar Hickman by fall (4:06) and Alfred State's Kyle Yasses by technical fall (15-0) to advance to the quarterfinals in the 149-lb bracket. The freshman would lose his next two bouts to Penn State Behrend and Gettysburg, but finished the day with a 2-2 record against a talented field of competition.
