Araki enters her second season as an assistant coach with the Hiram Softball program following a four-year playing career at UC Riverside (Division I | Riverside, CA). Araki played catcher and first base throughout her collegiate career.
While at UC Riverside, Araki logged over 169 games of action (161 starts), slugging 108 hits, 30 doubles, two triples, 18 home runs and 80 RBI. Her .302 batting average (35-116) in 2024 was a new career-high, with her 13 doubles this past season tying for the most on the team. The Highlanders had their best season with Araki on the roster in 2022, going 25-24 and winning the final five games of the campaign.
Araki earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology this past spring from UC Riverside. She is is originally from Wahiawa, Hawaii.
