Brittany Dye ‘10 enters her seventh season as head women's volleyball coach and her first season as the head men's volleyball coach at Hiram College in 2025-26. Dye was promoted to Director of Volleyball Operations in Dec. 2019, and also served as the interim head men's volleyball coach for the 2020 season.

This past fall, the women's volleyball team advanced to the NCAC Tournament for the fifth straight year under Dye, with all five of those seasons including a double-digit win total. Hiram notably went 5-3 against PAC opponents in 2024, a strong mark for the team's future conference of competition in 2025.

In 2023, Dye led the women's team to a second straight semifinal appearance in the NCAC Tournament, as the Terriers beat Oberlin in the quarterfinals in four sets. It marked the fourth postseason victory in Dye's head coaching career at Hiram. Dye's team posted a 15-13 record in 2022, which included a winning record at home and an 8-1 record at neutral locations. The team started the season with a 9-3 record and eventually made a run to the semifinal round of the NCAC Tournament before falling short to Wittenberg.

Throughout her time as head coach of the Terriers, Dye has led five different all-conference athletes, including 2021 All-NCAC First Team selection Kiara Franks. Emily Richardson and Cate Maguire each earned All-NCAC Second Team selections for the second straight season in 2024.

In her first year as head coach of the women's volleyball team in 2019, Dye led the Terriers to the NCAC Quarterfinals, helping a pair of Terriers, Kayla Cole and Franks, earn Second-Team All-NCAC honors. And in her lone season at the helm of the men's volleyball team in 2020, Dye helped the Terriers to the then-most wins in program history and had the team in position to compete for an AMCC title before the COVID-19 pandemic canceled the rest of the 2020 season.

As an assistant coach in 2018, Dye helped lead Hiram women's volleyball to a 23-5 (6-2 NCAC) record, and a runner-up finish at the 2018 NCAC Volleyball Tournament. Dye also helped three Terriers earn All-NCAC honors: Holly Hoffman (first team), Kayla Cole (second team) and Jaya Martin (honorable mention)

Before rejoining the Terriers, Dye spent eight seasons as the head women’s volleyball and basketball coach at Crestwood High School in Mantua, Ohio. Dye led the Red Devils to three conference titles, a district championship, and a regional final runner-up during her eight years with Crestwood.

With the Terriers, Dye played four seasons of both women’s volleyball and women’s basketball from 2006-10. A two-time women’s volleyball captain, Dye helped the Terriers to a 2006 NCAC Tournament Championship as well as NCAA Tournament appearances in 2006 and 2007. Dye was also named to the All-NCAC Tournament Team in 2009.

Dye earned her bachelor’s degree in education from Hiram College in 2010.
