Kevin Christie

Christie enters his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Terriers' men's basketball program in 2023-24. Christie joined the Terriers from Bluffton University in Bluffton, Ohio, where he served as an admissions counselor for student-athletes for the past two years. 

A 2018 graduate of Bluffton, Christie began his four-year varsity basketball career at Hanover College before spending his final three years at Bluffton. In three seasons with the Beavers, Christie played in 68 games, making 39 starts, averaging 10.2 points per game on 40 percent shooting to go along with 2.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. Christie graduated as Bluffton's all-time leader in career free throw percentage (89%) and also holds the single-season record for free throw percentage at 92.2 percent.

A two-year starter for the Beavers, Christie earned All-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Second Team honors his senior year, averaging 17.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. In addition, Christie earned Bluffton men's basketball's Most Consistent Player Award. 

Christie earned his bachelor's degree in communications from Bluffton University in 2018 and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies at Hiram College.
