Shaw enters his first season as the Terriers' offensive coordinator, having joined the Terriers from Nichols College in Dudley, Mass., where he spent the last two seasons on the offensive side of the ball. Shaw served as the passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach in 2018, before being promoted to offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach, as well as the director of football operations for the 2019 season.

In his two seasons at Nichols, Shaw helped develop quarterback Michael Pina, who passed for almost 4,000 yards and 36 touchdowns over two seasons under Shaw, as well as two-time All-Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) selection, wide receiver Hunter Ferreira.

Prior to joining the Bison, Shaw spent three years both playing and coaching football overseas. Shaw served as the offensive coordinator, starting quarterback and assistant recruiting coordinator for the Winterthur Warriors A.F.C. in Winterthur, Switzerland for one season (2017-18).

From 2016-17, Shaw served as the offensive coordinator, starting quarterback and assistant recruit for Potsdam Royals A.F.C. in Potsdam, Germany, after one season as the passing game coordinator. As the starting quarterback Shaw compiled an 18-4 record, passing for over 4,000 yards and 41 touchdowns, while helping the Royals capture the 2017 German Football League championship.

Previously, Shaw spent a season as a graduate assistant and running backs coach at Wisconsin Lutheran College in Milwaukee, Wisc. While also serving as the junior varsity offensive coordinator and assistant strength and conditioning coach, Shaw helped the Warriors to a third-place finish in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC).

In 2015, Shaw spent another season overseas in Elancourt, France as the offensive coordinator and starting quarterback for the Elancourt Templiers A.F.C senior team, while serving as the head coach, offensive coordinator and special teams coordinator for the junior team.

Shaw began his collegiate coaching career at NJCAA Division I Mesabi Range College in Virginia, Minn., spending one season with the Norsemen as the offensive coordinator, quarterbacks and wide receivers coach and assistant strength and conditioning coach.

A 2013 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran, Shaw was a four-year starting quarterback for the Warriors, graduating as the program's all-time leader in passing yards, touchdowns and wins.

Following his playing career at Wisconsin Lutheran, Shaw played one season for the Sollerod Gold Diggers A.F.C. in Copenhagen, Denmark, leading the Danish National League in passing yards and touchdowns as a member of the Senior National Team, while coaching quarterbacks for the junior team.

Shaw earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2013, and is currently pursuing his master's degree in organizational leadership from Nichols College.
