Murat enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Terriers’ football program in 2021-22. Murat joins the Terriers from Trevor G. Browne High School in Phoenix, Ariz. where served as the varsity linebackers coach, co-defensive coordinator and special teams coach.
With the Bruins, Murat coached one linebacker to All Phoenix Union First-Team honors, two to All-Desert Southwest First-Team honors and had two earn an honorable mention selection for the 6A All-Academic Football Team.
The Akron, Ohio native graduated from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Ariz. with a bachelor of arts in sports management in June 2021 and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies at Hiram College.
