Dean enters his first season as the cornerbacks coach, having joined the Terriers after coaching track & field (sprints) at Villa Angela-St. Joseph in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dean was also a two-sport athlete at Ohio Northern University, making his presence felt in both football and track & field. He was a three-year starter at cornerback and one-year receiver with the Polar Bears football team, and was named an All-American and two-time national qualifier in track & field.

Dean holds three program records in track & field at Ohio Northern.
