Dallas Bruton

Bruton enters his fourth year as an assistant coach with the Terriers' football program, with the 2025 season marking the start of his second stint with the program. Bruton joined the Terriers from Morehead State University in Morehead, Ky., where he played two seasons with the Eagles.

A two-time Academic All-Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) selection, Bruton began his collegiate career at Livingstone College in Salisbury, N.C. before spending his final two years with the Eagles at Morehead State, where he earned Academic All-Pioneer Football League (PFL) honors.

Off the field, Bruton was a member of Morehead State's Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., serving as the Psi Beta Chapter President as well as the Eagles' National Panhellenic Council President (NPHC). 

During his collegiate career, Bruton also spent time on the sidelines, serving as the Offensive Coordinator and QB Coach at Southern Middle School in Lexington, Ky. in 2019. 

Bruton earned his bachelor's degree in sports management from Morehead State in May 2020 and  his master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies in May 2022 from Hiram College.

A native of Lexington, Ky., Bruton is married to the Jessica (Duncan) Bruton.
