HIRAM, Ohio - April 1, 2026- The Hiram Terrier men's lacrosse team welcomed their PAC opponent Franciscan on Wednesday evening for a matchup at Henry Field. The Terriers fought hard, but eventually fell to the Barons, 10-3, at Henry Field.
The Terriers celebrated Senior Day before the matchup, with the senior class of Aidan Griffin, Tyler Wolke, Gray Perry, Micky Morgan and Ethan Bitong giving so much to the Hiram men's lacrosse program and being honored for their efforts in a pregame ceremony. The Terriers fought hard in the game, but eventually fell to the Barons in a closely contested matchup on a rainy evening, 10-3.
Both teams were deadlocked after the first quarter, with the Terriers playing impressive defense against the Barons. Both teams remained close into halftime, with the Terriers only separated by one goal. But it was the play of the Barons in the second half that proved to be the difference, but not without a fight from Hiram.
Leading the way for the Terriers were Micky Morgan and Kellen Wetz, who both finished with a goal and an assist. Morgan now has scored in six consecutive games for Hiram, as his impressive play has continued. Wetz has scored in 9 out of his 10 appearances, which is an outstanding performance for the junior. Also scoring for Hiram was Jack Cook, who tallied his name in the scoring chart in the first quarter.
The Terriers will be back in action on Saturday, when they travel to Thiel College for a meeting with the Tomcats, with the match scheduled for 4 p.m.
