Terriers Fall To Fighting Muskies In Weekend Road Match

Steiner Records Career-High In Caused Turnovers Despite Loss

NEW CONCORD, Ohio – March 21, 2026- The Terriers faced a hard-fought road battle against the Fighting Muskies with a final score of 20-0 on Sherman Field.

Seven different Terriers contributed to the caused turnover total for Saturday afternoon's matchup, with Janelle Steiner putting in the work and tallying five ground balls, pushing her to second in ground balls for the team lead with 14, just behind Emma Fox who currently has 16. Steiner also put up six caused turnovers in the non-conference affair, which was a new career-high for a single game.

With this win, the Fighting Muskies move to a record of 6-4 and 4-2 against PAC opponents, making them a hearty competitor for the Terriers as they move into conference play.

Next up, the Terriers will take on their first conference opponent on the road as they take on the Bethany College Bison on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
