Pittsburgh, PA – March 18, 2026- The Hiram Terriers traveled to Pittsburgh, PA for a PAC conference matchup with the Chatham Cougars on Wednesday evening. The Terriers eventually fell in a hard-fought battle against Chatham in three sets. The Terriers kept the game close, but eventually fell in 3 sets, 25-23, 25-13, and 25-21. 

The Terriers started off strong in a back-and-forth first set, with neither team gaining a edge over the other. But it was the late run by the Cougars to give them a late lead and eventually led to the Cougars securing the set. Chatham also carried that momentum into the second set, where they would start out fast and continue fast, including a 5-point run to end the set. In the third, the Terriers were knotted up with the Cougars for the majority of the set, but the late play by the Cougars pulled through in the last set to secure a victory.

Leading the way for Hiram was Cullen Sivak with 10 kills, who also added on three digs as well. This now marks the third game in a row with 10+ kills for Sivak, who looks to continue his impressive form. Leading the team in digs was Colin Brooks, who finished with seven digs and added on three kills. Finishing with six kills was Kekoa Tani, who also finished with four digs.

The Terriers return to action on Saturday as they travel to Saint Vincent to play the undefeated Bearcats, with the time set for 1 p.m.
