WAYNESBURG, Pennsylania - February 7, 2026 - The Hiram Terrier women's basketball team traveled to Waynesburg, PA on Saturday afternoon for a PAC matchup. The Terriers fought hard but eventually fell to the Yellow Jackets, 79-62, despite four double-digit scoring performances across the roster.
It was a gritty effort from the Terriers, as they battled with Waynesburg for the entire game; the Terriers were stout on the defensive end, recording seven steals as a team and also adding on a block. The play of Waynesburg eventually held the advantage, as the home team won all four quarters and rolled to their seventh PAC win of the season.
Leading the way for the Terriers was Maya Joiner, who dropped 15 points and grabbed 18 rebounds in what marked her second double-double this week. It also was the 8th double-double on the season for Joiner, as this impressive play has contributed well to the Terriers' success.
Also dropping 15 points was Advika Srinivasan, who finished with three 3-pointers on the day as well. Finally, finishing with 14 points and 8 rebounds, was Star Owens, who went 5-8 from the field.
The Terriers will be back in action on Wednesday, when they host Westminster College for a crucial PAC North matchup, with the tip-off set for 5:30 p.m. inside Price Gymnasium in Hiram, OH.
