HIRAM, Ohio - October 5, 2026 — Hiram football earned another PAC Athlete of the Week honor Monday afternoon, as quarterback Sean Tejeda was named PAC Offensive Player of the Week following an exceptional performance Saturday against Saint Francis.
The senior from San Antonio, Texas, who previously earned PAC Athlete of the Week honors on Sept. 15, 2025, added another accolade after accounting for five touchdowns to lead the Terriers to a 46-10 victory over the Red Wolves. The win moved Hiram to 4-0 on the season.
Tejeda completed 19 of 29 passes for 396 yards and tied his career high with five passing touchdowns in the victory at Henry Field. His 396 passing yards rank among the top five performances of his career and are the most by a PAC quarterback this season.
Tejeda's touchdown passes included a 75-yard strike to Kevin Dycks on the first play of the game, marking the longest completion in the PAC this season. He also connected with Caleb Tarver for a 53-yard touchdown and Dylan Hargas for a 55-yard score.
With the performance, Tejeda joined Randy Tucker as the only Hiram student-athletes in program history to record multiple games with five touchdowns.
Tejeda has continued to rewrite the Hiram record book throughout the 2026 season. He recently became the program's all-time leader in passing yards, surpassing Ron Devorsky's previous record of 7,012 yards from 1984-87. Tejeda now has 7,631 passing yards and counting.
Against Thiel on Sept. 26, Tejeda also became Hiram's all-time leader in passing touchdowns, surpassing Devorsky's previous mark of 50. Tejeda now has 56 passing touchdowns and counting. He also broke Trever Henderson's program record of 588 career completions, ending Saturday's win with 609 and counting.
Hiram will now turn its attention to Geneva College, as the Terriers hit the road for a match up against the Golden Tornadoes on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Reeves Field in Beaver Falls, Pa.
