JANESVILLE, Wisconsin – January 18, 2026 – Hiram opened its road series on Sunday night but fell 9–1 to Beloit.
The Terriers reached the back of the net midway into the opening first period with
Gino Haynes scoring his first career goal, finishing the setup from
Anthony Arthurs to give Hiram an early 1–0 advantage.
Goalie
Damien Carter faced heavy pressure and finished the evening with 49 saves while playing the full 60 minutes. Carter recorded at least 13 saves in each period and made several key stops during extended defensive sequences.
On the defensive end the Terriers put up 19 blocked shots, led by
Austin Renaldo with four blocks.
Connor Randell and
Neil Pretorius each added three blocks, and Hiram finished the night even in the face off circle, 35–35.
Hiram will look to bounce back in their two-day road stint against Beloit on Monday at 1:00 CT (2:00 ET).
