HIRAM, Ohio - January 17, 2026 - The Terriers lost to one of the best teams in the PAC on Saturday afternoon, as Washington & Jefferson extended its perfect PAC record to 6-0 with a 79-62 win inside Price Gymnasium.
The Presidents have now won all four of their conference road games, as the reigning PAC Champions shot nearly 60% en route to the victory.
Despite the loss, Hiram outscored the Presidents in the fourth quarter, 24-14, with senior Sarah Seaman scoring 10 of her team-high 18 points during that span. Maya Joiner contributed 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting for the duration of the game, which also included four steals and a block.
W&J was rolling from the start, jumping out to a 20-0 lead from the opening tip-off and holding it to the finish. Hiram responded well, winning the entire second half, 42-34.
The Terriers will next travel to Meadville, PA for a road game against Allegheny on Wednesday at 8 p.m.
